Just passed ROFR on Old Key West, how long do you think it will take to make a reservation? Disney still has to send the Estoppels. What would be the timeline?

Depending on your title company you may receive closing documents in as little as a few days up to about 3 weeks.

Then you will need to wait for seller to return their documents (they have to be notarized and therefore often take longer than the buyers to be returned). Usually this is about 7 to 10 days unless you have a very slow seller.

Then usually a few more days and closing occurs and the deed is recorded and Disney is sent notice that closing is complete.

Then you wait on Disney once again to set up your account number and send you a letter with that information. This usually takes about 10 to 14 BUSINESS days. Once this occurs you will have the points to use for a reservation.

So …. bottom line answer … you have about 3 to 6 weeks of waiting from this point.
