I do the majority of the laundry. DH and DD are required to bring me their stuff. DD folds and puts it away.

I do NOT iron. DH will do that if anything needs to be ironed.

I do the laundry for me and my daughter and usually can get away with two days a week.

When the kids lived at home DS brought his laundry downstairs and I just put it in with ours. DD did her own once she started high school as she was so "particular" about how it was done.

I rarely iron anything. Occasionally one of DH's shirts may need to be pressed but not often and I will iron something if it's been hanging at the back of the closet and has wrinkles when I want to wear it, but not on a regular basis.

We have two laundry baskets at the bottom of our bed, one for whites and one for darks and I sort them out cause DH doesn't always put it in the right one. My DS has a basket in his room too and he brings it into our room and sorts it out about 3 times a week. We try to do laundry only on the weekend, but usually it is 2 or 3 times a week. My DH does the majority of it since I haven't been too well for over a year now. He brings it up and down the stairs and I fold it. Everyone is responsible for putting their own away (that way I never get asked "Where did you put .......!"). My DS has a days of the week drawer hanging thing in his closet and since he is almost 10 he puts out his own clothes (normally on Sunday night, but sometimes each night). We do not iron, as I try to fold as soon as it comes out of the dryer. If anything has to be ironed later, my hubby does it as I DON'T iron!

I do the laundry 3-4x's a week. All of the kids clothes and mine..and whatever DH made into the clothes basket. His that are on the floor he has to do himself. I am not going to chase his clothes around!

I dont iron unless I need it for myself or the kids. If Dh needs his clothes ironed..he is a big boy and he can do it himself!

I never do white loads...I dont think we have anything that is white excpet maybe 2 or 3 pair of socks and I certainly am not putting them in a load by themselves!

I do ALL the laundry. I am so very anal about it. And DH is perfectly happy letting me be that way. lol

I do it whenever the piles get big, or one of needs something. Like I rarely wear white, so DH sometimes has to let me know he is out of white undershirts.

No kids. Mom taught us early, though. I remember always doing laundry. No wonder I'm anal.

NO - ironing is evil!!! DH is lucky enough if I spray that wrinkle releaser stuff on his shirts. He can do the ironing if he wants it.

I do most of the laundry. My husband and the boys all know how to do laundry and do help most of the time without being asked. I do laundry at least 5 days a week.

I guess I'm in the minority because I love to iron. I find it very relaxing. I iron just about everything...pillowcases, tee shirts etc

My husband asked me not to iron his flannel shirts. I guess it wasn't manly.

So, if you're in the Gibsonia area, stop in and bring your ironing. I'll be happy to do it for you.

I only iron when I have to..

Why? Because if I do end up in a scary homeless shelter I would at least like to go in wearing clean, non-wrinkled clothes.. "You never get a second chance to make a first impression.."

LOL C.Ann!!! I wonder where she's finding the enrgy to keep posting these silly questions....and why I keep posting my answers.

I do most of the laundry, but have help on occasion. I usually wash on the weekend because I have all day to wash and hang the clothes outside when it's warm. I have to more frequesntly (fewer loads per day) during the cooler months because I don't have a dryer and have limited hanging space. DH washes his work clothes every other day. DD is old enough to properly do laundry and will wash a load or two a week during the summer, it's usually all of her own things. I have to iron my work clothes almost every morning.

I do the majority of the laundry just whenever it needs to be done. And I almost never iron. I always make sure I fold and hang everything up before it gets wrinkled. I only iron if there's something specific that needs to be pressed.

I do the laundry usually a day *after* we need clean clothes. Sometimes DH will do it if he really doesn't have anything clean. I try to iron sometimes, but usually he does it since it's all his clothes anyway. DS (age 3) does help sometimes. When he's old enough, I'll have him do his own laundry.

3/4 of us do laundry. I do DD's and mine, DS does his own about 98% of the time and, dh does his own and everyone's whites. I guess that leaves me with the sheets and towels. Since we all basically do our own, we do it when the hamper/basket gets filled, any day of the week.

Ironing as needed, by me 98% of the time. DS is the only other one who's used the iron.

Dry cleaning is done by me & Dryel in my dryer.

I'm gonna go look for parts 1 & 2.

No, the closest I get to ironing is the 'bachelor iron' (throwing a damp wash cloth in the wrinkled item).
