Well it didn’t really matter. The ship angled one way for about an hour then tilted the other way for an hour.
But honestly we spent most of our time that day up on deck.
In Juneau we did the Disney combo with the Mendahall Glacier and Whale watching. The whale watching was incredible! Our guide found a pod of 20 orcas. And we watched them for awhile.
We are looking into this excursion but I'm worried it's going to be packed. Was there a lot of people? How big was the boat you were on for whale watching? Thanks for any info!
It was quite full at the beginning when they had everyone sit in their seats but once we got to a location to look at the whales they let everyone go where they wanted to watch from like the front, back, top or through the windows and it was crowded but didn’t feel overly packed.
