Just off the Fantasy

We know you're still just getting settled from your trip, but I'm just going to ask anyway. For those of us checking these threads every few hours for navigators, just put us out of our misery!

Are you planning to post your navigators?

If so, please let us know where to look!! We'd all be so excited!!

Thanks for all your info so far!! Glad you had a great cruise.

I'll be posting them, just not sure when. I'm trying to upload on pictures and videos first though, so might take a week or two:goodvibes

I heard that all of Europa is 18 and over, even O'Gill's. Does that mean there's no place for kids to go play board games? Or did they move that to the District Lounge?

Here's one answer I can't find anywhere. Since there's more sea days on the eastern cruises, how many different Palo brunches are there?

It is only 18 and over from like 9:00pm and after. Till 9:00pm it's for families or at least some of it. No district lounge on fantasy that is only on dream.

Oops, I meant to say D Lounge. I hate that they are so similar, I actually thought they were the same place until today.

Do you know if O'Gill's has board games for kids/families to play?

Palo brunch on the three sea days.

Thank you, Marla! This is great news. My DH & I both loved the brunch we had on our last (and only) Disney cruise. Plus since our DS (8) has told us that we're going to have to "schedule" time with him away from "his" clubs, we figure we'll have quite a bit of time to fill up all by ourselves.

We'll see, I guess. :confused3

been on Magic & Wonder several times. Can't afford it so much anymore so may have to decide between the Dream & Fantasy. Any Suggestions? We are in our 60's so you may not be able to relate. Are the adult areas active? The Magic & Wonder have always been rather desolate after dinner

Sorry, don't know. I don't play games on the ship, so never looked

Just got back from the Fantasy Eastern on Saturday. The adult areas were pretty active at night. Many more different choices in the Europa club area, and it was very lively till late at night (for us 12:30 - 1AM-ish). Loved everything about this ship. The quality and attention to detail was amazing, with many areas divided into smaller areas....made things feel more personal and less crowded. Food was great, and service and friendliness of staff was some of the best!

Can families go to the front of the ship - outside of Satellite Falls - to enjoy the views, or is that entirely an adult only area now?

You can walk right to the very front of the ship with kids if you like.

If you look at this photo, the glass area surrounds satellite falls. The area on the other side of the glass is accessible by everyone.

Marla - I know you already mentioned that you didn't see this - but I'm going to highlight it again in case someone else reading it might have an idea.

Thanks, Sandy, for helping me find out. This is something my kiddos are really looking forward to doing on board - so I'm hoping we can find them!!

Would the area around Currents be a good place for a DIS meet? Our group was thinking of meeting there on an informal basis in the afternoon on embarkation day. Can you have both adults and children in the general vicinity?

I know on the Dream it's not a very big area. How many people are in your group?

I was on this sailing too. I heard rumors of the ship being under 2500 guests, it didn't seem busy to me at all. Satellite Falls was wayyyy to windy on the sea days. It was a lot bigger than I imagined, but too windy unless you sat under or beside the "wall" or awning. We enjoyed it for a bit than left. Loved the live music up there. Me had automatice tips added to the stateroom account. I heard this was because of the low census. Actually, this worked out easier for us. We just added cash to two more of the envelopes that we thought really deserved more. My DH and I decided that this is our favorite ship. Everyone has different reasons why they pick their fav, but we sure so love the Fantasy! Loved the Muppets additions, Pepe's door is so cute!

Probably about 200. However, the meet is an informal "show up between 2:30 and 4 when you feel like it and say hi" type of thing. I see from the deck plans that Currents itself isn't that large, but is the surrounding deck going forward big enough?
