Just off the fantasy any questions?

Did you do Palo brunch? If so, are they still escorting you to the buffet and hovering over you while there?

I dont want to hijack the topic, but My wife and I are doing Palo brunch in a couple of months...was there an issue?

Not an issue per se. Not sure if you've done Palo brunch before, but it is like a super-fancy buffet with all the food in a smallish antechamber off the Palo dining room.

I, and others, have had the experience where your server follows you into said antechamber and proceeds to (over)explain what the foods are, although it is patently obvious what most of them are anyway. Further, the staff sometimes seem determined to serve the food to you whether you like it or not. "Hovering" is a word that comes to mind. Two others are "annoying" and "obtrusive".

This doesn't seem to happen every time on every ship. Some have hypothesized that it might be influenced by reported cases on on-board illness and is an effort to prevent its spread.

Thanks for the info Squirk. At least knowing this info ahead of time will prepare me. Looking forward to the experience!
