If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to answer them. This was out 3rd cruise and 2nd Eastern on the Fantasy. Just a note on the character breakfast..it was offered, but interestingly, my server told us it is only offered on the itineraries with three sea days (ie: Eastern).

Welcome back! I recently got off the Dream Double Dip and loved it. We are looking forward to planning another cruise.
Did you get off the ship at each port?

What excursions did you do? We are going on our first Eastern (first time on the Fantasy too) in Oct and can't wait!

Welsome Back!! Having done the Eastern before, we decided to stay on the ship in St. Maarten. There were many ships in port and we did Maho Beach the year before (and loved it).The winds were heavy traveling east and the Aqua Duck was closed most of the sea day before. DW and I also purchased the weekly rainforest pass and we were able to enjoy some time in there while it was a little slower. We got off at the other two ports

I am so excited for you!!! So we are not excursion people. We really enjoy getting off the ship, cabbing it to an amazing beach, wearing the kids out, and getting back on the ship for lunch with the exception of Castaway of course). That being said, as mentioned above, we visited Maho beach last year in St. Maarten...loved it and left after the 747 landed. In St. Thomas we've been to Magens Bay (last year) and Coki Beach (this year). We took a cab to both. I would recommend Magens Bay. Many excursions go here, but we left the ship early, got to the beach early and enjoyed a few hours there and left as it began to get busy with all the excursions showing up.

I am wondering if you used the the Navigator's App texting abilities to text? I am debating if I should buy a package from Verizon to keep in touch with my 11 year old daughter or trust the texting ability of the Navigator's App.

This is the first I've heard of bringing back the character breakfast on a 7-night cruise. Does everyone get a character breakfast? When is it offered? Do they put tickets in your room like I've read they do on other voyages, or do you sign up at guest services?

We are going on an Eastern Carribbean in October 2016! What was your favorite port? And what is a must do?

We will be taking our 1st Disney cruise on the Fantasy in Sept. How do you sign up for the character breakfast?

The app works well, but if it doesn't you can use the wave phones provided in your stateroom.

Wave Phones

While aboard the ship and on Castaway Cay, reach out to your fellow travelers via Wave Phone—an option that allows you to text and call without using your personal cell phone. From your Wave Phone, you can call any shipboard phone, stateroom phone or other Wave Phone, making it easy to connect with your travel party or new friends.
