Just noticed one-day change in Spectro!

I was doing the double-check on our itinerary, when I noticed on the WDW site that the Spectro that had been on the Tuesday is now on Wednesday.

This really changes things--I had everything just perfect! We are doing AK on Tuesday (the suggested day after EE), and were going to go eat at WL at 5:30, and hop over to MK for 7:30 Spectro. Then, on Wednesday, do MGM (again the suggested day after EE) and eat at Prime Time and see Fantasmic that night.

Now, what do we do? Leave AK and go to MGM for Prime Time and Fantasmic and then on Wednesday, leave MGM and go to WL and then Spectro. I really wanted to see WL (we're staying at the Poly), and thought eating there would kill two birds with one stone. I also really wanted to eat at Prime Time. The Thursday is MK in the am (for FMT) and then over to Epcot. I really wanted to stick close to there for the evening, as we'll only have a half-day there anyway.

BTW, we will be doing the MNSSHP on Friday evening. So, we will see the Boo to You parade, and don't know if that would suffice for a nighttime parade instead of jumping through hoops for Spectro. We arrive Sunday afternoon, do Chef Mickey's that night. Monday, MK. Friday, MNSHHP, and leave Saturday afternoon.

We have a DS4, and grandparents will be with us.

Any thoughts?

because I thought I was hallucinating about the day change! I, too, planned based upon Spectro being on Tuesday and made dinner reservations for Fantasmic on Wednesday. This weekend I was finalizing my plans and double checked the hours and, well, you know the rest. I started another post about which is better - Fantasmic or Spectro. I think at this point, I'm keeping my plans in place for Fantasmic and I'll just see if I can work Spetro in on Saturday. Otherwise, I would have to do lots of rearranging.

The Boo to you parade last year was very good. Thre were characters dressed in their costumes, even live dalmations with Cruella behind. There were fireworks before the parade. The outside of the buildings had inflatable things such as spiders on the roofs. It is a great time, Captain Hook dancing in his orange and black costume with the fairy from Sleeping Beauty.

I am assuming the fireworks schedule change is for October?

Could someone remind me where the times and dates for various parades and firework displays is located?

I seem to have forgotten. How far in advance is the calendar booked like that?

If you go to the official Disney World website and look at park hours, at the bottom of every day is a link to a pop-up window that will give the times of the events going on that day. I hope I'm making myself clear. I could never work in a technical support job!:p

The website lead that was "unofficial" did not list the '04 times yet.

But, thanks.

I'll have to find the "official" website for now.

Looks like hours are available for Oct, Nov and Dec. 2003. Hours aren't available for next year yet.:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Thank you. That was very helpful. I got the projected hours for April. I couldn't find the parade/firework times--just the descriptions.

Does anyone know where I can get a projected times for those events for late April?

:( When they first posted early Dec hours they had it on wed & sat. Great from me since im coming in on Tuesday. Looked the other day and they moved it to Mond & Sat. Boo hoo. Now do i fight the insane crowd on Sat my only chance or give up on it. Maybe it will change all again by that time.
