Do be mentally prepared, it did happen to us. We docked at CC, in the rain, it stopped just before they let us off. We found a spot on the beach, snapped pictures on the way there and once we settled in. It was cold, the water was cold (April) and there were really big dark clouds. The captain said he was going to dock as it was supposed to clear and it was starting to get lighter and it looked like we were going to have a great day. Then (within 30 minutes of being let off the boat) the sky opened up and it was rainy and windy the rest of the day. The gift shop was packed with people trying to ride out the rain that never stopped. They served the BBQ buffet on the island in the cold windy weather. We had given up before lunch and had lunch at topsiders. Would have been nice to be able to get the BBQ on the boat. It was disappointing. I think I would have rather the captain leave before lunch and at least find us some nice weather so that the kids could have swam in the pools. It was like a rainy at sea day. Everything was packed and not pools to help with the crowds. Just be prepared to go with the flow.
