Just missed it

I just finished my taxes and I missed the earned income child tax thing by a couple of $100 dollars. This is what I was doing when the refund went way down.

Oh no, that really stinks! I remember when we quit qualifying for EIC.

There was also a time -- and this was so awful to me -- DH got an increase in salary. It was enough to take him into a higher tax bracket, but little enough that our take-home pay was considerably less each month. Talk about infuriating.
