I have to say and brag that it's GREAT being a FL resident. It makes it sooooo easy to get great deals on tickets and rooms. Hopper passes that would normally cost me $221 + tax for a 4 day hopper I can purchase for $109 + tax with the Play 4 passes that seem to hit the same time every year. I only visit in May and those tickets are usually available from Jan-June or from April-Sept of the current year. DH and I always stay at the Allstars and we can usually get the FL resident rate of $69 a night for the time we are visiting. That's $30 less than the normal rate. I've already got our next trip budgeted at just about $1000 for 7 days and 6 nights. That's room, tickets and food. DH and I plan on sharing a lot of meals and will probably do a tad bit more counterservice so long as it caters to our low carb diet.
teachingmykids, No, they couldn't. Well, they could buy you a voucher, but you wouldn't be able to turn it into a ticket unless you had FL Id. All my relatives live out of state. I have to purchase the regular old park hoppers for them, and it costs me more than my SP.
