Hi all. It's just me and DH. Since it's just us, we're very flexible as to when to go to WDW. Is there a time of year that you go to avoid the families and crowds? Of COURSE it's WDW, and always busy, but in your experience, has there been a good time to go where the youngsters are away????? Not that I have anything against kids... but since we don't have any, we don't have to worry about working around their school breaks and whatnot. Any advice would be great :thumbsup2

In the past, we've gone in the middle of October, and the Middle of December-- both seemed like a fairly busy time, but October was less crowded than December. When we went in December, there was a LINE for 'it's a small world'... WeIrD!!

Oddly, I have found December to be one of the best times to go. September is good too. If you want a nice experience plan for the Food and Wine Festival next fall. Relatively queit then and alot of nice adult extras.

My dh and I go every year at the end of Jan and beginning of Feb. It is a great time for couples. No crowds to speak of. We move at our pace and we do a lot. It is also value season much to my dh's pleasure. LOL

ive been going to WDW since I was a kid and so far Sept has been the best for us. We go for our birthdays (sept 14th & 17th)...that week usually and we've had the most fun and the least crowds during that time. Which is why we're going again around that time this year.

I have only been to WDW once so I can't say for sure there, but being a DL vet I can speak about that park. Here is what I have noticed.

When school is in session, you don't have the older kids, ie K-12, because they are in school. But the parents with the kids under K level come out in droves.

So I went down in Oct this year during the week, all of the height limited rides were walk on, but forget about any of the other rides, like fantasyland etc.

It is Disney, your never going to not have kids, it's just a matter of what age kids your going to have.
