This is a lengthy process but I am almost there! They should have monday, so then have wait for seller to get and sign that should be at least a week.... I guess... how long does it usually take?

Then once that happens, how long till I can book again?

We sent our docs back 4/6 and were informed of closing 4/11 (I'm sure this can be impacted by the seller but ours was quick all along). We called and got access to our points 4/25. You're almost there!!

How long does it take? Not so long that it is unbearable but long enough that you should not hold your breath. I tease because I've read your threads from decision to offer to purchase and have been entertained by how involved you are with this. Seriously, though, the timeline that JETSDAD laid out is fairly standard, give or take. Congrats on purchase #2!

Just heard back today from closing company my deal is closed and Disney has been notified of the change of ownership. Please allow 7-14 days to complete the transfer. Yay!!! So, can I start calling around 7 days??

I'm dealing with feet dragging & distinct lack of communication this go-round, on day 11 waiting for sellers to complete final paper work (a trust is selling) and getting frustrated.

I was wondering about this too. We closed on May 26, buying resale, will disney send us some paperwork at some point that will allow us to log onto the member site? I'm not planning on booking till sept so I got some time but I'm excited

Yes, you will get a package with your new contract number and member number, along with instructions on how to setup your online account.

Interesting, yes! I used Fidelity and they use First American title company.. I had good experience... used Bonnie. Who are you working with?
