Well i just made our reservations for November 26, 2006 (our daughters 13th birthday) and I am just GIDDY with happiness!!!
11 wonderful nights at WDW, doesn't get any better.
This is our 3rd trip and everyone gets better!!

My husband thinks I'm nuts for getting so excited so early, (time to get out the ultimate packing list!), but I dont care. Had to write because I knew you all would be excited for me :bounce: :bounce: YIPPEEEEE

Yay for you!!!!! :) :cool1:

I understand your giddiness. I get the exact same way. Enjoy planning your trip and enjoy the anticipation of what I hope is your most magical trip yet. :wizard:

Edited to say: How about getting DH involved in the planning? My DH and I love sitting down looking at the different restaurants and deciding where we're going to eat and what we're going to do. I've been to WDW 30+ times, and my DH has been 10 times. We still love doing this together, and it adds to the excitement of the upcoming trip. Ask for his advice. ie: "Do you think we should go to HDDR or Spirit of Aloha?" Once he is involved in the planning, I think he will get excited, too! :goodvibes

Wow, eleven nights ... good for you! I take it you home school? I would LOVE to be able to go for that long, but we either couldn't afford it or it'd have to be in the (unbearably hot) summer. Hat's off to you ... it's a gorgeous time to go; enjoy!

No, I dont home school. The kids will miss 10 days of school, which is what they missed the last 2 times also. Our schools are great, they are all for family time and vacations whenever you can take them. We cant go in summer, nor would we want too!!!!!!! Kids can be excused here for 10 days for family vacations, no questions asked!!
They get some homework but mostly they are asked to read, journal, and HAVE FUN QUALITY TIME WITH PARENTS!!! Cant beat that!!
WE cant wait!!!

You are so lucky and I'm green with envy. We are having to go the first week of January so ours don't miss school (but they're in high school, which makes a difference). Your school is great; good for them!

You sound perfectly normal to me! I'd love to plan a trip of that length! I also have two DS's in high school, so the days of missing classes are over for a while! Have a fantastic time! :cool1:

First off - Yayayay for you. I love reading that others are going. Keeps me excited!
Second - Ultimate packing list? Do you have one you would share? I need all the help I can get. I either take way way way too much, or not enough and have to buy buy buy.

I love to start planning my trips well ahead of time. I am taking #2DGD in Oct 06. My DD and her DD may be coming with us. I haven't made reservations as of yet because I am renting points to stay at BCV, but have a DVC member who is going to rent us points for the trip. I took #1 DGD last Dec and I started planning that trip a year and a half ahead. I think planning the trip is half the fun. Will be ordering my 2006 PassPorter end of Nov. I just know I drive everyone bananas.

I'm happy for you!!! I started planning in January for our next trip (only 3+ weeks away  ) which is celebrating my wonderful son's 13th birthday! He was 3 months old for his first trip to WDW. I remember how he loved watching the white paper carousel in the old Figment ride. I think back to the time when his grandmother took him at 4 yo for a little while so that my husband and I could ride some "big people" rides. MIL asked a Disney CM where the WDW Train was, CM mistakenly points them towards BTMRR where they both had the ride of their lives! I remember the fun of he and I sharing a Water Sprite boat and racing his dad. We've been lucky enough to go to WDW nearly every year since he was born. What a magical place!

Where do those years go?

Don't you just love that "giddy" feeling!! I do and I love that I have found a website where there are people who "get it"! I have been planning our Nov. trip almost daily for the last 6 months!!

Happy planning to you! Enjoy! :cheer2:
