Just made my first reservations!

I just made my first reservations as a DVC member! I'm going in February to meet up with some friends, and then the hubs and I are going July 2013. I tried to make ressies for our NYE trip, but unsurprisingly, nothing was available. Keep your fingers crossed that something shows up! Regardless, I'm excited.

Maybe Saratoga Springs will open up for NYE. Make sure to get on the wait list if you haven't already. I did NYE at WDW two years ago and it was great! Be prepared for very large crowds and don't plan on riding too many rides. The parks usually close early when they reach capacity, so plan to choose one park and get their early and stay. I did MK and it was mobbed. I only stayed in the park until about 9 pm because I was tired of standing after being their since 9am. However, I was able to see the HS fireworks from my balcony at OKW so all wasn't lost. Good luck!

Yes, I've waitlisted SSR already! I think I might wind up renting points to a friend and using that money to pay cash for a room. We're actually planning on doing the rather expensive dinner at the Cali Grill to beat the crowds for NYE. I am both looking forward to, and dreading, the NYE crowds.
