Called to add in a few last minute changes and the CM made an ADR for us on November 25th @ 4 p.m. @ Tusker House. She said it just opened for ADRs a few hours ago and keeps checking to be sure of details. They called place to place to check on characters and believe it is the same, but that is "subject to change".

The kind of odd thing is that they have lunch listed from 11:30 to 3:00 p.m., but dinner from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. She admitted it was kind of odd timing, but they do close AK @ 5 p.m. that day.

I have to say, this CM has made my day! So nice! Got a Saturday, November 24th @ Artist's Point for 6:05 pm. Also a Monday, Nov. 26 at 6:10 p.m. for the Grand Floridian Cafe--all ADrs for 4 poeple. I thought that would be harder than that especially around T-Day.

Do you know what the price is for the buffet?

So glad I read this.:thumbsup2 I was told yesterday to call back on the 29th. By then, chances are it would be filled up since we are going the week of Easter.

Big hug to Luvamouse. Got my ADR booked. Now just waiting for Yak & Yeti and Rainforest Cafe.

Thank you for posting this info. I made our ADR for dinner on Nov. 28.

What is going to be on the buffet? Is it a character meal all day or just breakfast?

Renee

I am under the impression only characters at breakfast.

Food unknown....I am assuming similar to old Animal Kingdom breakfast :confused3

I'm also curious to know what will be on the buffet? Will it be tusker house CS food as it was before or will they be changing the food?

The CM this a.m. told me that we had booked the character meal at 4 p.m* (She had placed a phone call to get details on who the characters were-- said it was remaining the same. I can't swear to her being correct of course- and it is the 1st day for ADRs. Luckily my DD's won't care so long as I know what it is beforehand.

*(edited to give time--dinner seating).

Thanks for the posting!!!!

I was able to get a reservation for December 9th for lunch at 1pm. Can't wait to try it.

:cool1:

Thanks for the info! I didn't ask about prices (we'll be using the DxDDP, so cost doesn't matter) or menu, but I've got our ADR for lunch in January. :)

Thanks for the great info! A question, though--anyone see any difference between lunch and dinner, other than smoked salmon and the price?

Just booked TH for dinner November 16th. I was the first to book an ADR for opening day. :cool1: And I was worried that I was too late to get an ADR for opening night- guess not.

I'm so happy. Originally they were saying it would open the 17th & that's the day we were leaving, so I would have had to wait until my next trip to try it.
