So when we left off I was being a baby and crying my way toward the monorail. Last year, DF kinda laughed at me when I cried. Not in a mean way, but in a "I don't get why you'd cry" way. Now, he gets why I cry every time I leave because he has been bitten by the Disney bug too! So he was very sweet and comforting and started a list of all the great things we would do when we came back in June

I think I made a good decision in marrying him
We wanted to resort hop a bit, and Poly was the first stop. I was dying to show this place to DF because it is my fav resort and I want to honeymoon here, so I was very eager to see his reaction. And he fell in love! We broke off from my family and took a little stroll through the lobby. The waterfall was dried up (very odd looking) but it was still gorgeous. Then we went out by the pool and the beach.
I had told DF before the trip that this is where I envisioned our honeymoon but I didn't think we could swing it financially. But while we were on our walk, before I could even say anything about the honeymoon, he turned to me and said "We will make this work. We are honeymooning here!" Ahhhh he loved it too!

I think DD sensed we were having a moment, because he rushed over to take a picture of us:
So I was officially happy and could enjoy the rest of the night! We spent way longer at Poly then we intended. DB is a human garbage disposal and needs to eat more frequently than a baby needs bottles, so we stopped at Captain Cooks so he could snack. Even though we had dinner ADRs in one hour. And had eaten lunch 3 hours ago. Jeesh! By the time that was done, our ADR was close to ready so we took the monorail back to MK. Love resort hopping, hate how much of a project it is to get places!! lol
Then we hopped the boat to WL. I looove riding the Disney boats, and this ride did not disappoint. The moon was full and the sun was setting. They were playing Can You Feel the Love Tonight on the boat. So warm and peaceful. It was like a scene out of a movie!
We got off at WL, another place I am dying to stay someday. Walked around a bit and saw the scenery.
Isn't this place gorgeous? I wish I had more pics but the lighting wasn't working well with my camera this night for some reason. WL and AKL are at the top of my list of places I want to stay in the near future.
We checked into WCC about half an hour before our ADR but were sat right away. The food here was amazing, and it was so fun! Our server was a sweetheart. I got the meatloaf which was the BEST I've had in my life. What can I say, I'm a simple girl! DF got the skillet so I picked off that too. Mmmm I want some now! Their cornbread was amazing too. I left stuffed and happy
We took a bus back to MK and got the car. DB was dying to check out DTD and we all needed to souvenir shop for friends at home so we headed over there. DF found a cute Donald shirt that says "I need anger management" or something

which is ironic since he's the most laid back person I know (I take that back...laid back unless the Red Sox and/or UConn Huskies are losing!!) I got a cute Valentines Day antennae topper for my car.
After that I dragged DF into Goofy's Candy Company so I could make a treat. It was my first time and I wasn't missing this! I got a pb fudge cookie dipped in chocolate and reese's pb cups (I love pb can you tell? Thank god that contamination problem is now taken care of and I can eat it worry free again!)
Isn't my cookie lovely?
Can you spot it?
DB decided he needed to eat again (WHAT?!) and dessert was the next stop. We went into Ghiradelli's Soda Fountain. I hadn't been here in years, and stuffed as we were I convinced DF to split a cookie bottom sundae with me. Ohhh lord, this was the best sundae of my life!! Everyone else got milkshakes and loved those as well. DB works at the Red Sox team store at Fenway Park in Boston and he bumped into his boss and a bunch of coworkers there while waiting for our ice cream! What a Small World (no pun intended lol!) They were in town for the marathon so we chatted a bit before heading outside to eat.
Now officially in a food coma, we strolled toward PI. Stopped to check out Trex. Cool theming, but way overpriced. We have Rainforest Cafe in our local mall so we are a little spoiled. Sorry these are blurry!
It was wayyy too loud in there! Very nice to visit, but not a good place to eat IMHO!
After visiting the ghost town formerly known as Pleasure Island (We literally walked all the way down, looked at the now closed and sad looking clubs and reminisced a bit, and immediately walked back-RIP Adventurer's Club

) our feet were killing us and we were so ready to call it a night after this packed day! We drove back to the condo and packed up, because the next morning it was time to head back to the chilly northeast. Ugh I hate packing. This year I was terrible, I literally balled everything up and shoved it in my suitcase. Except for my souvenirs which were laid neatly on top!
It is crazy how this trip flew by! I was so bummed it was over, but I fell asleep in seconds, dreaming of June and my disneymoon

Plus, our flight out wasn't until 655 the next evening so we had some time to enjoy the resort a little more the next day before we left.
Up next: Soakin' up the sun before our flight home...Stay tuned, there's a bit more to come!!
