I like that the fairies "own" the butterfly house this year. Seems appropriately whimsical. I did love the fairy display last year. How long did your DD wear all those leis? Eventually they end up leaving my neck all itchy.

Yea for the meet up! Looks like y'all had good time. I hope they keep that pretty pink slushie on the menu. It sounds good.

I really had a great time chatting with you and your DD. She is a chatterbox much like my DGD. That 1st pic really isn't the best of me but I really don't like having my picture taken.

She is quite the chatterbox. I can't imagine where she gets it from

I will probably e heading down the surgical route but 1st I have to get the stress fracture to heal from all of the other damage. It is nice having someone who understands the frustration.

I hate that for you because it is a very painful surgery and recovery. I'm here if you need to talk about it.

I forgot that after we met I had to take off. That was the day they had an accident and construction and I got hopelessly lost again. The bad thing about staying offsite is traffic and having to leave early. If my mom and aunt stayed up past 9 PM I would have been OK.

You amde your way around OK, though. You did say you had it all memorized by now, right ??

I love the fairies !! And whimsical stuff. She wore them all day. Loved them. Didn't complain at all. They make me itchy, too, but it was cooler that day so maybe that helped.

Yea for the meet up! Looks like y'all had good time. I hope they keep that pretty pink slushie on the menu. It sounds good.

My meet up was good. It really is nice having a friend who understands how horrible this all has been.

I love that pink slushie ...... to the moon and back. Made me sooo happy !!

We got the Baked Goats Brie with Kumquat Chutney.






This is called the La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush (Grey Goose Vodka Orange, St. Germain liquor, White and Red Cranberry Juice)


I loved this guy. Such a creative arrangement.



And these succulents. So cool.

That baked brie looked so yummy. I love that they now have food booths during F&G. So smart on their part and so convenient for us guests.

That pink slushy looks so relish!

I love all the creative little arrangements they have for F&G. Makes me happy I am tentatively planning to visit next May!

Seriously, if they put some edible glitter on top, it would be perfect. It made me so happy.

It really was yummy and they don't make them super strong. I wish I had gotten more.

That ice cream in France is the best soft serve ice cream ever. They have the vanilla, swirl and chocolate. The taste and consistency is heaven.

Day 6  Part Four

Next up on our tour of World Showcase was China.





I love to look around in this pavilion. China is so interesting. And if I havent already said so, go see the movie if you visit here. It is amazing !!













Then on to Norway.

We rode the Maelstrom.



We really love this ride.





She cracks me up. For realz.

DH and I had to get a Fiesta margarita.



I asked them to leave out the mango part of it though. I just am not a fan of mango. But give me some lime and strawberry slushie and add some tequila and it is ON !!



After completing our circuit of World Showcase, we headed out.





And back to our room

We had a savannah view last year and it was amazing !!

The food booths were one of the big highlights of our trip. We enjoyed them very much !!

Oh girl !! We checked them THOROUGHLY before they were tried on and we stuck to the plastic ones and not ones that had a bunch of fabric where critters could hide. Every time I saw them pick up a hat, I warned them to check or perhaps maybe not try it on at all. Mostly, they just put them back. We did not come home with creepy crawlies this trip thank goodness !!!


That cupcake is precious.

They had some super cute things out for Easter that I really loved.

I highly recommend renting DVC points. We did that in June of 2011 and it was fantastic. We signed with DVC during that trip. Renting points is almost HALF as much as paying though Disney. There's a guy on the Dis that rents them and he is SUPER nice. It was a very positive experience for us.

I watched the movie in China and what I saw was nice but I get really nauseous with all the movies in WS. Same reason I can't do Soarin, motion sickness standing still.

I booked my trip for December renting points. We'll be at SSR. I am looking forward to it although I was a little nervous at first. Now if I can contain my excitement for 7 months.

No this will be a first. I stayed at the Grand Floridian years ago and it was really nice. That's where I learned the advantage of staying on site. Plus that trip was really cheap, airfare and hotel for 7 days was less than $400. My aunt and her partner paid for everything.

I was a little nervous about committing to the rental and have a few worries that I'll get there and we'll have a huge problem and nowhere to stay. The company I used came highly recommended from another friend here on the Dis and she has always had success with them.
