Just in: Disney to outsource theme parks!!!

In a move that surprised few insiders the WD Co. announced today that they will be outsourcing every facet of their business from restaurants to hotels to DVC, Cruise Ships and the theme parks themselves. President and CEO Robert Iger said it follows what we've been pointing towards for years. Our goal is after all to make money for our shareholders and now we no longer will have to worry about any of the petty and mundane operational issues like actually imagining, designing and implementing things for people to spend their money on. We'll let others do all that with our BOD and Management watching to make sure the financial numbers are met. In other words all we'll do as a company is count the dough. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.

That unfortuanately this will probably occur down the road (I think I quoted something from someone that said something along the lines of this but if I didn't sorry for the confusion)

If I am not mistaken this is lready occurring. Every no US Themepark is running by a company within the country the thempark resides. So They already are outsourcing themeparksor themepark operations.

within 10years either the moderates or Values will be outsourced. I also think that within 20 years the themeparks will be completely outsourced.


I had a conspiracy theory in my head that was one of the reasons Blackstone wanted out of Universal. So they could talk in good faith with Disney. Toatly from within my own head though.
