Here's for all of you who cry at just about anything. I cry at any romantic comedy and especially Hallmark commercials. It always makes DH laugh when I cry like that!

So, what happens today? I finally received my Disney planning DVD today, and I actually cried when I watched it!!! Humm... Would ya guess that I want to get there real bad? And we haven't even booked our stay yet!

So, am I totally helpless?

I can't wait for October to get here! Just nine more months. . .

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What part of the dvd did you cry on?

Dont worry october will come fast.

Don't tell anyone, but I cried when I watched mine too! I was just thinking about how magical it would be taking dd4 to WDW for the first time and got all choked up. Sometimes even a commercial for disney will get me teary.

What part of the dvd did you cry on?

Can you believe within the first minute of the introduction?

And Barbers2005, thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one who did it!

Anyone else want to join the "I cried while watching the Disney Vacation Planning DVD" club? ::MickeyMo

The DVD got to me too, and I've been to WDW three times since fall 2005, and am going again next week! The commercials sometimes make me cry too. My DD8 thinks I am pretty pathetic.

I don't watch the DVDs, but I will admit to welling up on that first walk into MK each trip....... And at some of the stage shows...... Just a big ole sap, me. :)

Dis-Saps Unite!

I don't watch the DVDs with my husband. Years ago, (when the videos were videos) he said "why are you crying?" From then on, he's been barred from the room. I give him a Chuck Norris movie and send him on his way.

Sign me up...planning video, commercials, our pictures from trips, reading this board.. ....I may have a problem:rolleyes1

Yep, I am a Disney geek..I cried watching the planning video..:sad1:

ok well i got a little teary eyed in the planning dvd too....

but make sure to bring some tissues with you to Disney World.... Wishes gets to me everytime..... as does leaving.

November 05 i went on the disney magic cruise for a week, and had such a great time. When we were on magical express heading back to the airport, i lost it. i was 19 and was surprised that i started crying watching the ship get further and further away......i also lost it when they played that darn "remember the magic" song as you're leaving the ship.....

Oh and October 06 was my first trip to Saratoga Springs being a DVC member and my parents had got my friend and i are own two bedroom suite.... i walked into the room and pretty much started crying............yeah yeah....... i was overwhelmed at my HOTEL ROOM. goodness, i never realized that i cry so much.... i should get used to this if i want to work for disney. I'll probably cry making a dream come true for a little kid.

ok disney, you can stop pulling at my heart strings:)

I get the planning DVD every year and every year I cry. It's usually just the music, When you wish upon a star, just does it to me. It's also the beautiful visuals of the parks, the families....and this is from a person who goes to WDW almost every year, to Disneyland once a month and has no kids! You would think I'd be innoculated against such sappiness.

Don't worry! I cried during wishes! My best friend and I were watching it the last night before we went home and went to separate colleges. I especially teared when in the song theres a clip from Peter Pan and it goes "I wish we never have to grow up! Off to Neverland!"

Tears and chills...they just go with watching Wishes, Spectro, and Illuminations and hearing the music. I've shed a tear or two over some stories on these boards, because there are some heartwarming and heartwrenching stories told. I cry over movies and Hallmark commercials as well. Yes, I'm a crybaby. Maybe not an out and out cry, but the tears that well up and just sit in your eyes and threaten to roll down your cheeks and tell the rest of the room you're crying.

It's nice to know that we're in such good company! :goodvibes I'll have to remember to bring tissues for Wishes. We missed the fireworks last time since we wanted to get the kids in bed by 9:00 each night.

And epfootballcutie04, I'll most likely cry when I get on the Magical Express bus on the way to the resort!

Add me to the list too. I welled up watching the planning DVD, at the part near the start where the little girl asks her dad, "What do you dream about?" and he says, "Why, I dream about you!" :goodvibes

I'm with you! It made me way too teary too!
LOL

We just got back a week ago and I did better than I thought. I never actually broke out in tears during the trip (although I did get teary a few times! I held it in :) )

oh yeah... getting on the bus.... when they played the welcome video... pretty sure water works were startin to flow..........but i had to hold it in for fear of constant teasing fom the friend that was with me, in which it was her 1st time to disney..... she joined in with me when we got to SSR.... i've made a disney obseesed person out of her.... im SOOOOO proud:)

What a good friend you are! :thumbsup2 We need more people like you in the world! Just think of how much happier the world would be if we all converted at least one person into a Disneyholic? :hippie:

I must tell y'all that I confessed to DH last night... I told him that he was going to laugh, and he did laugh when I showed him the DVD. Humm... He even dared to ask if I ordered it. duh.

But when I told him that wasn't the part he was supposed to laugh at, he laughed again. Then her really laughed when I told him about crying while watching the video, which I expected. He feigned shock when he said, "Oh no, I'm married to a Disney nut!" :scared1:

Humm... what tipped him off to that? Could it have been the Mickey & Minnie cake topper we had at our wedding? Or the fact that I cried when I realized that Mary Poppins was going to be at the Princess Storybook Breakfast when we visited last time? Go figure. :)

Later in the evening he said that he would be sad when November came. Why? It would be after our trip and I'd just go around ignoring him and wouldn't love him anymore! But I reassured him that wasn't going to be the case, because then I'd be working on him to go on a Disney Cruise our next big vacation and I'd really have to love him then! ;) AND HE LAUGHED AGAIN!!!!! The nerve. :rolleyes1

haha. i think we should make it all of our personal goals to convert on person into being a disney holic. Think about how many people are on these boards. Times 2. and if each one of those people converted one.... and if they converted one...............

we could take over the world.

and it would be a good thing, because everyone would happy and dreams would come true and it would just be a splendid sight. who's with me???

How lond does it take to get the DVD?? I ordered it over 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten it. In the meantime, I did place a deposit for our trip 4/25 - 5/1 at POFQ.  :yay:
