We've had to change our checkin day (as well as resort) - instead of arriving Saturday, it will be early Sunday when we arrive (like 9:00). Is that too early to checkin? I know we won't be able to get a room then, but would like to go ahead and checkin and get our passes. The thing is though I'd like to put our park hopper passes on our room key. I know that early our room won't be ready, but can they go ahead and give us a key/passes so we can go ahead on over and hit the parks then?

You can check in just as early as you'd like to!! It's even a possibility that your room may be ready that early. It just depends on their occupancy and what time of year your going. If the room isn't ready than the answer to your other question is yes, they will put your passes on a room key for you. Your room key just won't work until the room is ready!
Have fun. We ALWAYS check in early.....usually an early morning flight.

Thanks what happened is - we decided to switch to Wilderness Lodge from Dolphin, after the latest codes came out. We could basically get the same rate at WL in a standard room as we could at Dolphin with the Teacher's rate and my DW has always wanted to stay at WL; so we decided to change. But we couldn't get the code rate on a standard room until Sunday, rather than Saturday when we had planned on checking in. But I figure on Saturday we'll just drive down most of the way and maybe spend the night in St. Augustine and then get up early and drive on to WDW then. We will still have a full day at the parks that way.
