Hello

Having just read about Magic Kingdom being full to capacity and only open to Disney resort guests today, I was wondering how busy we can expect Universal to be this Easter?

We have been to Florida many times at Easter before but I never remember it being as busy as it is this year.

So, does Universal ever get full to capacity? How busy can we expect it to be? We will have express passes from POBay but still would like to know about general crowd levels!

Thanks!

Richard.

Where did you read that the parks are full? I don't remember ever hearing of them closing to all but resort guests. My friend is flying down there today and staying offsite. THey will be so disappointed!!!:(

Don't know about the capacity levels at Universal, but overheard 2 Universal employees talking Sat. night about a prediction well in the 40,000 and above range for this coming weekend at USO.

Sea World had over 32,000 people on Mon.

So I think it's pretty safe to say all the parks are gonna be packed this coming weekend.

I can tell you that this whole week has been very crowded at Universal. MIB had a 150 minute wait today (Wednesday). Single rider was 45 minutes. I don't remember the parks ever being so crowded. I can just imagine how crowded it will be this weekend.

150 minutes? Geez!!!! How long was the wait for RotM?

I'm afraid of this weekend. But I'm going anyway. Definitely Friday, possibly Saturday. Sounds like its gonna be pretty scary.

Just returned yesterday from USO. We have been there so many times so I have a lot to compare it to. I have never seen it so crowded, but that is not a bad thing, we still got to do al the rides and it was not terrible at all. We always stay on site and have FOTL, we never had to wait on that line, until this past weekend. There was a wait of 20-30 min on the the express line this visit - the other lines were very long, but they move fast. There is no express line for the Mummy, and we rode that 10 times and the wait time stated was 50 min, but it went much quicker than that. The park itself was very crowded but Universal does a great job of crowd control by their shows which takes people off the ride lines. The parks are very clean, including the bathrooms. Even with the crowds it was lots of fun and plenty of time to do anything you want. I know the resorts were at full capacity, but there was never a long wait for the boats. The weather is perfect too - it is not hot :) it was about 80 or so and sunny, the mornings were cooler and I was tempted to bring a jacket, but it quickly warmed up.

You will have a great time, don't worry. I think Universal does a much better job at full capacity than WDW - no comparison.
