I'm getting married on December 22nd at WDW. We have a 2BR booked at BWV and I'm trying to determine if there will be enough space for my bridal party to get ready in the room.

There will be about 7 of us plus a photographer, videographer, and a wedding planner (all whom will be in and out, I'm assuming).

Too tight of a squeeze or will we be okay? We do have a Plan B, if necessary.

Thanks!

Well, congratulations and what a great place to do the wedding. Though it will be somewhat crowded, you will likely have enough room. For open spaces, you have the living room area and also half the second bedroom (room has queen and pull-out couch). You also have some room in master bedroom to do things and master bathroom is really two different rooms.

Seven women getting dressed for a wedding? Not enough room. With all the dresses and mirrors needed? Not enough room in the least. You need a big wide open space.

Total of ten people? No way.

^I have been officially overruled, most likely by a women who knows better than I would, so heed her advice.

I think it would be tight as well, but it depends on the women and the wedding.

You'll have the big master bathroom, that will be sink space for three - although the sink in the room with the toilet doesn't have a shelf for makeup.

You'll have the little bathroom in the second bedroom - that's space for one.

So you could have three or four women use the bathrooms at the same time - although one would have to be the type of person who can do her makeup from the ledge over the sink and not need counter space.

There really isn't a mirror in the master bedroom, but there is one (if I remember, in the second bedroom).

If you are tidy and stuff light, and the dresses aren't huge - I think you could do it - although I wouldn't want the videographer/photographer and wedding planner there - leave them in the hall or the lounge. If you have seven high maintenance women and a ton of stuff littering the room to start with, you might be bumping into each other. If your dress is the size of Cinderella's, and your bridesmaids dresses are similarly sized - no way - that much skirt just wouldn't work.

I should add that one of the 7 is my father who will probably leave, lol. The vendors will be in and out.

Our hair and makeup is being done but timing is staggered for each girl. Hmm.. I *think* we may be okay; I know I've gotten ready for weddings in a smaller area.

Thanks for your opinions... still thinking!

I had similar numbers at a Marriott Courtyard suite, which would be about the same size. I think it's doable. Knowing me I'd probably do OKW for the extra space, but it's not quite the same ambiance. :)

Should mention that we had hair and makeup done offsite, so all we did was dress in the room. Might make a difference. Also, most of us were in dorms together and were quite used to prepping in CLOSE quarters.

I think you will be ok-I too have gotten ready in smaller areas with people coming in & out. What a great location. Congratulations to you :bride:

You should be fine. No, it's not a huge space, but I have to say that I've been in wedding parties that got ready in much, much smaller spaces. BWV, in a two bedroom, will be a wonderful spot. Shouldn't be a huge issue at all.
Have a wonderful time, and a beautiful wedding. You are living my dd's dream!!!!
