Just how bad will DHS be on May 4th?

This is our arrival day, and we're huge Star Wars fans. I'd planned just an evening in DS for our arrival day (we'll get in around 3 PM), but now I'm thinking it's a shame to miss the May 4th stuff at DHS.

I suppose we could always just leave for DS if we discover DHS is indeed that intolerable. Anyone have experiences to share?

I'd say crazy busy, but it could be a lot of fun.

It's not that bad. Nowadays may 4th isn't as big at the park since they don't have star wars weekends going on.

As far as stuff they'll have it's usually a cupcake, maybe a shirt or two, and maybe a pin.

It was a lot more fun a couple years ago with SWW

We were there last year (and will be again this year.) The crowds seemed no different than any other day. Disney had a few extra carts with a couple limited items. Nothing real special.

Now that SWW are a thing of the past it should be relatively a typical park day
