Just home from our annual January trip!

We just returned today from a great week at OKW! The weather was nice most of the time. We had one morning of heavy rain, but later that day was beautiful and sunny and warm!

We were in 2913, a dedicated 2 bedroom on the first floor just below a GV. It was not the most convenient location I have been in, but it wasn't bad. It is the last building of the first building stage at OKW. The unit was in great shape! All new appliances and the tile had been reglazed. The High speed internet jacks were in, but not yet working. It also looked like some of the facing on the master bath cabinet had been replaced.

I intended to go to the Tuesday morning members update, but this was our last full day, and our guests really wanted to catch an early morning Kilamanjaro Safari, so we skipped the members update.

I got to meet WebmasterDoc, Caskbill, and DVCJohn as well as Bill's wife. Great folks and just as nice as I assumed they would be!

BTW, just wanted to let you know that even the non-DVC resorts say "Welcome Home" to members! A couple of times we drove to other resorts for dinner, and even at the Contemporary and AKL, we got a "Welcome Home"!

Diane - I would be interested to know if the noise from above was very noticeable?!

Thanks for the report - love to hear anything about OKW. All being well we will have our first visit there in exactly one years time! Not that I'm counting or anything!!!!

We are leaving in two days for a 5 nite stay in a 2 BR at OKW with my sister and BIL.
