Just heard from Mom from WDW

Just got a phone call from my mother after riding the new Soarin' ride at Epcot and it was good to hear her having such a good time. She went to WDW with my sister and her husband and their 2 young boys. My Dad died last year and it has been difficult transition for Mom, they had a business together and were with each other 24 hours a day. I helped them make their plans for WDW and sounds like it was just the right medicine..

Sorry to hear about your dad. I think you are right Disney is the best medicine. My mom died 2 years ago and exactly 1 month after she died i planned a family trip (which we hadn't done in years) for my dad and my 2 brothers and my family to go to Disney. It was nice to have a little fun in the midsts of all the pain. It was kind of like a memorial for my mom all of us doing things we had done together when were little. It got my dads mind off of the bad and put a little smile on his face. It is amazing how much Disney can help.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, but I'm glad that your mom's having fun. It seems that Disney brings the kid out in everybody, no matter what the age.
