My most recent trip was for a couple of nights tent camping at the Fort. It was the first time that I had stayed there and also my first "solo" trip. I absolutely adored it there and unless I am going with my "non camper" relatives will be hard pressed to find a reason to stay elsewhere. I also wanted to thank everyone on this board for answering all my camping/Fort related questions before I left.

Once we stayed at Fort Wilderness we never wanted to stay anywhere else either. Funny how one can get hooked so fast.

I know! It is addictive. We stayed in the cabins several years ago. Well, the next week we went out and bought a travel trailer, just so we could go back to Ft. Wilderness. We have already upgraded 2x and now have a motorhome. We go there every chance we get! Watch out....yes it is addictive....but can get expensive! BUT IT'S WORTH IT!

I completely agree, now if I could just compress the drive from Houston to FW by say 18 hrs, I would use every single day of vacation I have at FW.
