Called today to book a surprise weekend trip in June for Star Wars Weekends. Got a wonderful lady who said that Friday was available but Sat was sold out. But she asked, could I hold so she could see if she could do something about that. Waited a few minutes - DISed a little while waiting - and ta-da! She came back with my Sat night.

Such a relief to have this painfree. Had this been CRO, I doubt I would have had this much help or that the person on the other end would have taken the incentive to help me. I would have gladly waitlisted, but thanks to her (I am kicking myself now that I didn't get her name) I am all taken care of.

So to those DVC CMs who read the DIS - thumbs up and keep up the great work!

I'll second that! I just called and got a studio at BCV just six months out! The MS agent said something about some newly released rooms. Whoopee! Our second annual Mom/daughter trip is in the works!

One of my favorite DVC "perks" is not having to deal with CRO or WDTC.

Couldn't agree more!! I called this morning for a one-night ressie on March 3 - very last minute!! They juggled my points and found a studio at OKW so DH and I can enjoy one night at WDW while in the area for our anniversary. They are more than helpful, explaining exactly what they did. While I realize I'm paying for this service, they continually impress me with outstanding customer service and make me glad I bought DVC.
