Just had to share

I've tried several times in the past to book the Fantasmic balcony seating and I finally did it today! My kids are in school already and my DH is in a long meeting so I just needed to share with someone. Figured fellow DISers would understand!

And on top of it, I got the first four seats for the first showing! I'm thinking it's my lucky day!

OK, done sharing now...I'll calm down...eventually!

Very cool! What a great experience that will be for you all! We passed on Fantasmic when we were there because of the age of our boys (6 and 2), but that means it will be something new to us when the boys are older...

I can totally understand your excitement! Vacation Planning managed to book our seats two days ago. The trip is a surprise for the kids so I have been limited to whom I share the good news with. I am totally happy for you! Have fun telling the family!

Trick n Treat at DCA was really thrilling! So much ppl, even adults dressed up! Also, lots of cool decoration esp the Mickey GHOST!!! oooo, scary!!! Lots of characters out... right by my cart was the monkey from Lion King, Simba, 2 bears from the brother bear etc. Even the monkey came by my cart and said hi

Word of note, walking in DCA after closing is SCARY!!! like... no one around you at all!!!

Thanks everyone for letting me share my excitement. My family was pretty happy too, especially my DH! Although, I did have to let my kids know that this will be a one time thing - then we're back to the concrete for Fantasmic in the future!

Here's something nice that happened when I made the call: When the CM told me I got the first tickets, I told her she just made my day. She responded with excitement, saying her day was made too - it was her first time of reserving the first tickets. Just made the call a little nicer and more magical!

Congratulations..how exciting! I hope you all have a wonderful time. I can't wait to hear about it. I have also talked to Vacation Planning about getting balcony tickets...have to wait until Nov. 23 to find out if they get them or not. Hopefully they will come through like they did for you...I can hardly stand the wait!
