My dd 13 won the spelling bee at her middle school and is going on to regionals!!!

Congrats to your daughter!! I actually came in 2nd place in the middle school spelling bee (7th and 8th grade...I was in 7th at the time). I still have my trophee...it is in my dd's room...LOL...

OH...did I mention that was back in 1979????

AND.....a quite "ironic" thing...I lost on the work "site" and it was used in a sentence about camping....I knew how to spell it...but you know how sometimes when you mean to say s and you say c (maybe not)??......but the irony comes in that we are now avid campers!!
