MS confirmed this morning that we're going to Tanque Verde Ranch in April for DD's Spring Break. :sunny: I've heard good things about this place on our Boards and DD and I are excited to go.

If anyone has been lately, please let me know any suggestions or advice you may have. We're bringing our golf clubs in case there's some courses close by!

This is on my list of must-do's. One of these days.

I'll look forward to a trip report when you get back.

You won't be dissapointed. One of our very best vacations ever. Is it still all inclusive? DD spent nearly every waking hour riding horses. I'll see if DW will post to you more info (her memory is better than mine). :)

Yes, all meals are still included so I don't feel as bad for spending all the points. Glad to hear you had a great time there!

I'm looking forward to a detailed trip report! When the girls get a bit older, we really want to do this one!!!

Have a great time!

Mike

Hey JoEllen! When will you be there? We are confirmed at TVR for April 4-7. This is our second trip to TVR (me, DH, DD 12 and DD 10), were there two spring breaks ago. All of us loved it! It is indeed all-inclusive. All meals, riding, hiking, biking, etc. is included. You do have to pay extra for alcohol and spa services.

Bring your clubs. There are tons of golf courses in AZ. We have not played in Tucson, but have in Phoenix.

One of the best things about our last trip was meeting other DVC members. There were actually quite a few there. We still exchange Christmas cards. Let me know if you have any specific questions, and I will try to answer them.

How many points per person is this resort? I looked on the website but I couldn't tell if it was per person for the room or per night. Thanks! Sound like a great place and something my daughter would love - hope you have a great time! :)

Thank you Alice! i sent you a PM. Glad to hear your family enjoyed it enough to go back!

WDWorld2003 - We're going during Spring Break so paying peak time points of 54 per night. This is good for two people. Not sure what the points would be for more than two.

I'll be sure and post a trip report for anyone interested in going. :)

The points structure is almost like that for a cruise. The base amount is for double occupancy, then additional points are required for additional people in the room. You really have to talk to MS to find out what the points requirements will be.
