Just had my fourth jab

I got my fifth last month. It is a little bit weird though. I got the Moderna bivalent. For my vaccination card I previously had one that used little stickers, and that took up more space than the standard area on the card. So when I got my fourth shot the nurse copied over everything else to another card so it fit in the four spaces on the front. And for the fifth the nurse went to the back of the card under the follow-up appointment area, but with the lot number.

And when I check with my Apple Health/Apple Wallet version of my vaccination record, it just says "229" for the latest. It's something called the CVX Code which is a vaccine number assigned by the CDC.

I got my fifth about three weeks ago. They actually gave me a separate card for this one, which is okay since I keep the card(s) in a lanyard pocket. It’s easy enough to have the correct sides facing out. I didn’t have a lot of side effects, but my arm was sore much longer with the new shot.

I got my 5th shot a few weeks ago, and felt like crap for one day and then I was fine. I also have two vax cards now.

It is kind of weird. Apple Wallet only displays the last 4 dates (left to right) of vaccinations without any description of the particular vaccine. But one can flip to the info section and it will list all the vacations by brand and date.

We got four but the fourth was the bivalent. No after issues at all.

I was also pretty odd that when I got my last shot from my county's vaccination site, they didn't even ask me for my insurance information. It's theoretically still free for the uninsured, but I thought that the federal money ran out for that. When I and my kid got tested, they did ask for my insurance information.

I got my fourth dose last week (Moderna bivalent). I had chill-like side effects the day after I got the shot but they went away the next day. I had chills after the second shot as well.

Last week, we got the bivalent and our flu shots on the same day. Booster in the left arm, flu in the right. I have heard so many stories about a strong reaction to the bivalent, I expected more than our previous shots. But it turned out to be the same... pain in the arm, but not a debilitating pain. I could lift my arm above my head and everything. Flu shot arm, that first night, hurt more than the booster.

This was our 4th shot. The pharmacist put the sticker and info on the back of the card.

5th jab (Pfizer) and flu shot Friday. Different arms. both injection sites sore until this morning. Had flu like symptoms for about 2 hours on Saturday 24 hours after the shots. Not sure which or if I had a reaction to both.

I got my 4th a few weeks ago. All of them Pfizer and I felt fine after each one just the arm pain for about a day even though I kept moving my arm.

We've only gotten 4 shots now, as we only took one booster of the basic vaccine. We waited for the bivalent vaccine for our 4th. But, the first booster we got they used a sticker that took up 2 spaces on the card. They gave us a new (2nd) card with the most current booster only on it.

I really should go get a fourth. I work with children and our area is exploding with respiratory illness right now.

Our emergency rooms are jammed, we have a shortage of childrens pain and fever reducers in Canada right now and just last weekend I read we are having an amoxicillin shortage as well.

So thank you for the reminder. I’ll go book my fourth shot and a flu shot while I’m at it. This time last year I got RSV and that was as bad as the Covid I then got in the Spring. I’ll do what I can to avoid any more lung infections .

It’s so bad here right now our top provincial DR is strongly recommending mask usage indoors again.

I got my 5th shot about a month ago, along with my regular flu shot, and pneumococcal pneumonia shot. All 3 in my left arm. No problems, just a slightly sore arm for a couple of days.

My mother and I both had our fourth booster which was the Moderna Bivalent. I didn't have any effects but my mother woke up the next day and she was walking into furniture. The signs looked like a stroke but she didn't have the weakness or dropping of the mouth. She was really confused though. I called the ambulance and the hospital confirmed was a bad reaction. They treated her with IV antibiotics and hydrated her but didn't think she needed to be admitted. By the we left she was walking much better.

We were both surprised because with the first three shots she just slept a lot.
