We have figured out that, by the looks of it, our digital camera is gone. DH usually keeps it in his truck. He is very lax about locking said truck 
. When he picked me up at my accident yesterday he wanted to take photos but figured out the camera was not in the truck. We can't find it in the house, and he can't find it at the office. The last time he used it was 8 days ago at DD#2's swim banquet. He works in Toledo, but he drives all over to do his business, so it could have been anywhere if it was stolen.
Well, just when I'm feeling OK that at least he transferred ALL of our prints to CD and paper right after our cruise (yes, he kept the cards in the camera case ) so we only lost a few photos of the swim team, I remember he ALSO lost his driver's license this week 
. He looked all over the house and truck, but had to get a new one to do some business at the federal building. So I think, WHAT IF THE CAMERA WAS STOLEN AND THEY TOOK HIS LICENSE TOO?!? Hoo boy! That's a whole 'nother problem! So I called TransUnion and put a "fraud alert" on his credit report--meaning if anyone tries to open an account in his name they will have to contact us first. They also inform the other 2 credit agencies. They will also send us a credit report so we can see if anyone has already done this--if they have, hope we can do something about it. This person would have his name, address and SS# to work with! All they would have to do is alter the license--which expires in 2 months anyhow--but still, they could do some damage and we don't have ANY $$ in the kitty to fight any identity theft cases!
Is there anything else I can do besides put the fraud alert out to the credit reporting agencies?
