Wow, I devoured every word of your trip report when you posted it, and didn't even realize those were your kids in VM!! I did show my dh the pic last night, and told him what a great shot it was!

We stopped in at the lobby shop at BWV this afternoon and asked about the watch. The CM had NO idea what we were talking about, so it looks like they don't have them yet. They did have some other new DVC and BWV stuff, though. New mugs, magnets, visors, ladies t-shirts (dark blue -- not necessarily good for park going in summer), and other fun stuff, but no watches.

I called the merchandise stores at OKW and SSR and no one knew anything, so I finally called MS. I was told that the watches will not come out until mid-July. They didn't know if we could order them or not. I was just there this month and will probably not be back until after the first of the year. So, hopefully they will allow mailorders.

We just received our VM earlier this week and I can post a picture later this afternoon if no one else has done it yet. The photo is of the men's watch but I would like to see how big the ladies watch is. I'm kind of glad to hear they won't be available until July - this means there might be some of the limited 1000 left by the time I get there in Sept.

Nope! We just returned and I asked to see one. BWV and BCV stores both said they won't be available until the middle of July. I asked about mail orders and both stated they didn't know if they were going to allow this - similar to the LE pins for DVC owners.

If someone else was told a different story - please post.

We just returned from BCV, and they didn't say anything about them at the shop when we were purchasing other DVC merchandise, so I wonder if they even had them yet? Bummed if we missed them!!!!

Isn't the little suitcase adorable? The watch comes in it - ithas stamps of each DVC resort. I really really don't need a new watch, but......

I asked a CM in the OKW gift shop this weekend about the watches.

He said that they were told they wouldn't be available until the fall, but they expected that we could purchase them over the phone.

We had a nice discussion about DVC merchandise - or "lack thereof." He said that they have had so much demand - simply from the pictures in the VM" - that he didn't understand why they just didn't go ahead and "make them now."

Believe me, the CM's in the shops realize what an opportunity DVC is missing by not getting more merchandise out there - they are as frustrated as we are!

Wow! This is different information than I received! I was told they would be available in July and that they would most-likely not be available via phone - like the LE pins. I guess we will have to wait and see. Annmarie
