Awesome. Perhaps we'll run into each other. She wants me at home game but I don't think I can make it.

Congratulations!! That's fantastic!

I went to Notre Dame as well and cherish those days like no other! It's a beautiful place and will always be home. I graduated in 1997 with a degree in accounting, lived all 4 years in Siegfried Hall (which is now a men's dorm!!). I didn't play any sports, but our women's basketball team was pretty successful back then if I remember correctly. I will look for her if an ND women's game is shown on tv here.

There's nothing better than an ND football weekend on campus. I know she'll love it there!! :)

GO IRISH!

I'll have to remember her number, for when ND comes to Purdue for their game. We love college basketball in our house. Doesn't matter, mens or womens, we watch them all.

Gooooo irish!!!!

We are heading out there for DH's MBA reunion in October.

I agree it is beautiful. I believe she is in Lewis Hall. The day we moved her in the AC wasn't working but I think they got it fixed. All the students talked about were the upcoming football games. I know its big. I would love to get to one. Unfortunately, my job puts me in a different city just about every Saturday and Sunday.

She told me that the team is suppose to appear on ESPN and the local stations are showing 70% of the home games. Trust me...as I proud parent I plan on keeping everyone informed ;)

And your not just tooting your daughters horn, either. Just looked at her write up on ND site. Those are some pretty impressive stats. There is nothing like Hoosier High School basketball.

Ft Wayne got pretty lucky with getting the girls high school state finals for 2009/2010. We beat out several Colleges for the rights to hold this years finals. You can bet, we will be getting tickets for those games.

Wow, very impressive bball resume! Congratulations! We are a bball family and like college more than pro. Good luck to your daughter!

Honestly its not even about the basketball. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to be able to watch her for four yrs but what’s most important is the end result. She’s studying to be an Orthopedic Surgeon and I would love to see that more than anything. There’s also been talk of the WNBA but we’ll see how she does this yr. The women’s team does look tuff. This will be my first time following women’s college basketball. I’m excited! Can’t wait!

Thanks a lot. You guys sound like us. My daughter has 3 brothers who also play. She's been around the game all her life. Its funny to see her progress because I remember them pushing her around beating her when they played. Now they can't touch her!

I know someone whose son just started at ND, too. I haven't talked to this person in years, but I remembered that we were pregnant at the same time so I emailed her (since I had just launched one myself.)
