Just got something...

OK, had 4 more this morning. :headache: All deleted. What's going on. popcorn::

It's probably a spammer, but it's better not to open it. If I don't know the person, I just delete the email. If it's somebody important and they need to get a hold of me, they will send the email again.

When it comes to emails, the delete key is your friend. :thumbsup2

Burn it! Don't breathe the fumes.

Thank you all so much. I hope it doesn't continue. Don't want to open one by mistake. But I will delete, delete, delete. Again, Thank You. :confused3

That's odd. I've gotten two between last night and this morning. Exact same thing: no subject and the sender unknown. I just deleted them.

anything you get from an unknown should be deleted. dont even think about opening it, legitimate news does not come via email from unknowns.

There is software out there that just hunts for email addresses. The best way to avoid spam emails is not to have an email. There's nut much you can do but delete them.

Even better than deleting it is to push the "spam" or "report" button on your e-mail.

I wonder if it's the dis boards notices gone crazy?

I started getting ones that said TO: dis@disboards or something like that. They were totally blank.

No subject line, etc... I just deleted them.

Now that I think about it I haven't gotten *any* messages from the threads I've been subscribed on since those showed up last night.

I just figured they were subscription notices that went haywire.

I would still definitely delete them but if you are getting a ton, that might be where they are coming from (if you have a lot of subscribed threads people reply on a lot).

somthing fishy is afoot.....I have been getting them since yesterday...I delete, go back later, and there are 2-3 more.....:confused3

Unknown sender and no subject...:confused3 What do I do?

I've received several like that in the past few days as well. I will continue to report them as spam and then delete them from my spam file. I also haven't been getting email notices of the threads I'm subscribed to as one pp mentioned. Weird things are happening~~hear the Twilight Zone music? :scared1:

I have received a couple in the past two days also....I reported them as spam and then deleted them.
