There is a thread over on the resorts board about spreads and blankets, they do not get changed between guests (at any WDW resort or most hotels countrywide). I would have called and requested new blankets.
I had a smoking room one time at CSR. I arrived with friends and we were thrilled to get connecting rooms ready at 8:30am. The front desk neglected to tell us they were smoking (we had requested non-smoking), we found out when we got to the rooms (which were a distance from the lobby, near the pool). We were so anxious to just drop our stuff and go to the parks, we just called housekeeping for an ionizer. It really didn't help much. I really noticed it when I got home and opened my suitcase, everything smelled. We regretted not asking for a change, that was our mistake.
