Just got off the Magic...!!

Here is my 1st piece of advice....(until I can get unpacked). If your kids are old enjough to understand (mine were) Disney is doing things alittle different.. Sometimes the characters will sign autograph books and sometimes it is just "pictures" only..We were tried of spending all our time in lines..Find the head CM for the characters Ours was Rebecca, leave you autograph books or whatever with her or guest services. You pick them up friday night and they are all signed (by everyone). This was much better for us because we just did pictures and were out of there. It was just as exciting for my boys to go through the books afterwards.
Just my piece of advice....It saved our sanity!

Hi Susan,

We missed you at the DIS meet. Amy looked for Bryson every day and didn't run into him until the end of the cruise. Did you enjoy yourselves? We had a great time! Amy wasn't interested in autographs or pictures with the characters, but I convinced her to at least take one with Mickey and a friend she met on board.

I just dont get it.

Aren't the memories of getting the pictures and autographs what it's all about. Otherwise, just buy a pack of different color pens and sign the book yourself when your kids aren't looking. Not much different than having a bunch of crew members, sitting around the crew lounge in street cloths, going through a stack of autograph books! OK, I'm a cynic, but next thing you know they'll be selling pre-signed autograph books in the gift shop!!

There were several times that we were standing in line for pictures and autographs and due to the time they would shut down autographs--and do photos only. That is when the CM told us about giving her the books. This saved on the disappointment of not getting an autograph...

I am not a party pooper but we were there to have a good time not stand in line for an autograph only to have tears for the next hour because they stopped signing.
