Just got my packet-A few questions

We are buying 200 pts at BCV and recieved the packet yesterday. I have a couple of questions I haven't seen an answer to.
1. Is parking free at the parks with a DVC membership and/or stay?

2. Is there a charge for local and 800 calls from the room?

3. When am I able to book? I know not before March 6, but at what point in the process of paperwork. I noticed there was a member number in my packet. Is it at this point, after credit approval or at closing?

4. Is there a place to get more info or brochures on non Disney Collection resorts that we may book?

1. Theme park parking is free when staying at WDW resort, just like any other WDW guest. If you are not staying at a WDW resort, no special priviledges for members. Free valet parking at BW & WL, BC has not been announced yet.

2. Local calls 35 cents, 800# free. I don't believe this is in writing anywhere, so they could change it.

3. As soon as you make your deposit (but not more March 6 for BCV).

4. You should receive info in the Member Guidebook.

Thanks for the response. As for #4, I got the book, there is just very little info on non-Disney Collection resorts. I didn't know if there was a way to request more info on a particular property in the Concierge Collection or others.

FWIW, item #2, calls are 0.35 each for members. For non-members, calls are 0.75 each.

Regarding non-DVC resorts, a member friend is having a hard time on a trade out for Key West Florida. Member Services told her they can be booked up to 2 years in advance. She also tried for a conceirge collection resort that is booked solid for fall. So make plans early.
