The prices listed for stay and scream are for anyone. As of yesterday, they were available by phone but not the website.

*edited to add the prices without taxes

i will post what i paid for the tickets when i get back home.
i am leaving now for out of town and will be home on monday.

call the toll free number for the add on hhn tix.

Instead of calling the 800 # for the HHN addon ( STAY AND SCREAM) Can i just purchase S&S at the park on the 23rd????

On a scale of 1-10 how scary is it? I am trying to figure out if I should let my DH and DS go while I go tho the spa as I am a big scaredy cat .

:confused3

Ok, let me tell you all about what i paid. I paid for both tickets, hhn, and express plus pass. A little under 54 for Oct 23. I already had day tickets. So, this was an add on discount(stay&scream) This is the best buy I have seen. I get hhn tickets, and ep passes. For less than one day event ticket. Wooohooo :cool1: :sunny:

Suzyq, how old is your son? From what I hear. It is pretty scary. My son, will be 12, and I am not allowing him to go. I dont think it is appropriate. So, I would not allow him until 16, or 17, and only if he showed real interest to go. Anyway, this is my first time going, and the reason why I prepurchased tix, is because I heard closer to the event, tickets sell out. Especially the express pass. So, I chose to prebuy them both. I hope this clarifies for everyone. :cloud9:

My son is 17 so I am sure he will have a great time. I was asking how scary it was for me.... I am the chicken :)

If i only want to add the S&S should I still do it ahead of time?

Thanks for all your help!

You definitely want to get tickets ahead of time just to be safe. Many weekends sell out and with the pricing this year, I would not feel good taking a chance on a Sunday either. If you know for sure you want to go, buy them early.

ok I called the 800# and got the S&S($26.xx) add on and the HHN($26.xx) express for 10/23. So for both I paid about $102 for 2 people. The rep I spoke to highly reccommended getting both and ordering them now as opposed to buying them that day.

Thanks for all your help!

WOW that is a great price. I had called too to find out the prices last night and sinci I would be going Oct 1 Saturday nite I was quoted $54 I think and the 1 day 1 park is also $59 or something like that. I just think the stay and scream add on is high. I will still go but paying almost full price for a ticket ontop of the regular ticket is killing me.

I am sorry to hear that Ckret. Is there any way you can go on a non peak night. So, the price wont be so high for you? :confused3 If not, then I am sorry.

the question that was asked before was this:

the lady already has a one day one park ticket and plans to spend that day in universal side. the hhn is at the ioa side.

her question was will she be allowed in at the ioa side without purchasing another day ticket.

what i have heard is this: since ioa closes at 5, she must enter by 4:50 thru the ticket gate, show the hhn add on ticket and go to the designated stay and scream area. no other day ticket needed to be purchased.

that person needs to call universal vacations # and buy the add on for hhn.
by showing that ticket, it will allow her to enter without an additional cost.

Thankj you so much!

I will do this. It will save a few dollars at any rate!!!!

macraven, one more question, in the past I have brought the add on pass but went to eat in Citywalk and went into IOA around 7pm after it started. Am I still allowed to do this or will I have to pay extra? I will have already purchased a one day one park pass and will probably go to the studios portion during the day.

i think Saturday the 1st isn't too bad price wise, for me atleast, I'm paying 24.75+tax for Sat :confused3

I have just purchased 4 HHN express plus tickets off the HHN website for the 9/30 (opening night). I took the "Print at Home" option.

Now I have to get the HHN tickets tickets for that day.

I have a PAP and the tickets for that night work out at $25.00+tax per night.

Do you think it would best to buy them over the phone or buy them when I get to the park? Is there any chance of HHN selling out before I get to Orlando (staying at the HRH from 15th September).

If I buy them over the phone, is there an option to pick them up at the park?

Thanks.

the add on can allow you to enter the park early and get a head start on the event.

yu can go eat at city walk and enter the park for hhn at 7 if you wish.
the only problem you might have would be a longer line to get in.

just because you have an add on, you don't have to go to the stay and scream area.

That's the AP holder's rate for that weekend. The prices go up the second weekend.

If you have already purchased Express for that night, I would definitely go ahead and order your tickets over the phone so you are sure to have them. Since express are non refundable, it would be terrible to not be able to get admission tix for that night if it should sell out. I ordered mine over the phone and they mailed them to me, not sure about picking them up at the park but you could ask.

i have something to add to this

the last two years, i have ordered over the phone and have them mailed out to me, (hhn tix and express passes)

three years ago i ordered and picked them up at guest services.
the line was horrendous..............i waited 45 minutes in line just to pick mine up.
it just wasn't worth it for me to waste that time in line.
since then, always order in advance and have them sent out to me.

for the 5 day passes, same thing. on that order i did pay for the shipping but had them within 3 days once i ordered.
