Just got my FIRST real christmas tree

Yay!! yesterday DH and I went and got a christmas tree

We have been married for three years and have never spent a christmas at home so we had never gotten a tree before. We usually split our time between spending christmas eve at my inlaws and christmas day at my house. Well, this year we said we weren't going anywhere and wanted to spend xmas at out own home. So yesterday we finally went out and got our tree and decorated it. It's beautiful all full and nice smelling
It makes me happy.
Growing up we just had a little tiny plastic tree and now this tree is taller than me
Now comes the even fun part....filling up the bottom with presents

Wonderful! Have fun decorating it. There is nothing better then a fresh cut tree in the house, smells SO good.
