Just got my boarding passes!

I had to get 4 BP from SWA just now all A's . First one was #1, when i got my fourth it was #30! And I don't do it slowly! How many A's do they give out?

A SW 737 has 131 seats - from seatguru.com

divide that by 3 and you get approx. 44 per group but this number is reduced by pre-boarders.

I was told by a gate agent when I was a 1st timer that the 1st 45 who check in get A passes, the next 45 get B passes, then the rest get C's.
