First trip as DVC members! What a wonderful experience and we LOVED the space of the villas! Toured the AKLV and BLT rooms...WOW...they are huge!

Great trip of 10 days!

Working on the big trip report....
We purchased DVC after this trip was booked, so we couldnt get rooms for the entire trip. Stayed at POR from the 5-8th with the rest of the world and then moved to SSR on the 8th...2 bdrm....

THIS IS THE BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE..to get DVC! We travel to Disney with our three kids and our best friends and their 1 year old. We had our own rooms and my oldest DD slept on the couch...the villas are wonderful! So much space!!!

Had groceries delivered and DH made pancakes a few mornings. Kids loved the pool. Buses were good. Super fun to be that close to DTD (although its crowds were crazy) We stayed in the Springs...3321 to be exact. Good location. Close to pool and main building and bus stop.

Went and visited with our guide and met her face to face for first time. Toured new rooms in AK and BLT. WOW! No idea we got special gift from her. that was fun and the ice cream. Nothing like ice cream at 10am on a pouring down rain day!

Overall, I love the feel of the resort. I actually felt like I was on a relaxing vacation. We have small children (so obviously I like them), but there were not as many small children everywhere as there are at the value and moderate resorts. At least it didnt seem like it.

Great experience! Going back in October and then in January. October staying at SSR and then in January, going to try to get VWL...but I know they are hard to get!

How did the groceries work out? How was the selection of all goods and freshness of produce, if you got any? DW and I will be there in 1 BR for 8 nights in January and not on DDP.
