Yes it is Tikiman's room...I read about it on his site and trip reports. I did request it and was pleasently surprised that we were able to get it. It does have a beautiful view and wonderful access to the beach.

If you have a concierge room booked you may use the following email and phone number to communicate with the concierge staff before your arrival.

There are always some smoking optional rooms in the Concierge building. I believe that they are currently on the third floor of Hawaii. And yes, they can smoke on the balcony if it is a smoking optional room. I do not know if they have designated the rooms at Tahiti that will be smoking optional while it is the concierge building.
