Thanks for the kinds words and for reading my posts! We had a great day today. We got a ton of rides in today as well as the parade. We camped out on a Main Street curb an hour before parade time and had a great spot! The Christmas parade was very festive and bright!
Highlights of the day were: the parade, my DD getting picked as the Rebel Spy on Star Tours, getting stuck on Indy and getting to stay on for another ride and my DD overcoming her fear of Space Mountain and of course..... Steakhouse 55!
We left the park after the parade and headed to Steakhouse 55 for a relaxing meal. The ambiance is very old Hollywood with pictures of Walt and other celebrities on the walls. Our drink order was taken and them loaf of hot and crusty sourdough bread with butter was brought to the table. It was great. DH and I started with splitting the Steakhouse 55 salad which has lettuce, frisée, tomato, cucumber, cheddar, bacon, croutons and some delicious dressing. I had the rib eye while my DH had the prime rib. We split the potatoes au gratin and my DD got the 4 cheese Mac n cheese with bacon. We also shared our entrees with her and still had steak left over! We split their famous 24 layer chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious with the prime rib being the favorite. The potatoes and Mac n cheese was great as well! The dessert was huge and yummy and we couldn't eat it all! The service was fantastic and our server Martin was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy a good meal and are looking for a quiet , relaxing and delicious meal. It was a perfect end to a magical first day!
Thanks and have a great night everyone!
