Just got BWV 12/2/-31!!! Help!

I am so excited!! By some miracle, and 4 calls to MS, I was able to get 3 nights at BWV at this late date. We are taking a last minute trip with another couple. We have never been to WDW at the holidays let alone the week after Xmas. I don't know exactly what to expect with the crowds. Is is a madhouse or is it manageable? Please help me to feel less overwhelmed about this!

We have been at WDW the last two Christmas/New Year's weeks and it is a madhouse, but manageable.

We did all of the early morning openings, stayed in the parks during the morning, had a PS scheduled for lunch around 12:30 or 1:00 P.M. and then left for the rest of the day. We would go back at night not for many rides but for the fireworks and/or parades.

This always seemed a way to manage the crowds and not be overwhelmed. Have fun. It is a great time of year to be at Disney.

We were there last year at that time. We took advantage of the late closing at MK. The crouds would thin out after the late parade, and we would head to the rides. They would make it look like it was snowing on Main Street on the way out.
