Just Got Bak And Guess Whut

According to the latest, he won't be there......sorry! But Dueling Pianos is a very entertaining and worthwhile show to take in.

Sorry for not clarifying myself when i say sick i mean sea sick because of all of the colors
i guess when people are sitting in there and the boat rocks they get sea sick

A worker in Common Grounds had told me this change was going to take place in september/october this year:(

Hi Kari,

Andrew and Michelle brought back essentially the same information regarding ESPN, Common Grounds & OffBeat. They did get one tiny little detail difference though - that was that the present Common Grounds area MAY stay a teen venue so that the younger (13-14: middle school) and older (15-17: high school) teens could have separate places to "hang" when there was free time. Guess we'll see when she sails again after dry dock.

Amy - was Fidelio the guy with the longer sort of curly hair? Tommy & Anton were the listed performers. We caught one of the adult dueling piano performances and it was ok. Sorry for those that love it, but still didn't make the same level as the old Improv. The cabaret shows in Rockin' D were better in that respect. Just too short. IMHO

Deb - sorry to sound so prejudice but if Fidelio was entertaining, you'd have been impressed. He inspired my son to begin piano lessons and got me back to "tickling the ivories"! He is fabulous!
He's the man with my son in the below picture.

Thanks Rae, that doesn't look like any of the folks we saw - actually saw 3 gentlemen so 1 was probably him based on what Amy said about him "helping out" the 2 new guys.

Clarifying my previous statement - all 3 of the men we saw playing were EXCELLENT pianists. I can't fault them there. But from a comedic standpoint - which is what we enjoyed so much about the old Improv - it wasn't the same.

I love good music and thoroughly appreciated their talent. Both of my kids (and self in my BC days) are/were involved in music and theater.

BD - my DH is a silver fox....his hair turned white at 22 (BEFORE I met him!) -

How long before those 14 year old girls will be complaining that they want to be with the older teens(read boys)?

It didn't sound like it was going to be a hard and fast age based separation. More of a multiple venues for the teens to hang out in based on their personal level of comfort.

Seemed more that the bottom line was there are more and more teens sailing - over 300 on that trip alone. More space is needed.
