Hi Vicky, sounds like you had a great time.

Which bits did you enjoy most? What are the "must not miss attractions?" Anything you wish you had packed but didn't? Any advice for first time visitors?

hi

sorry to all the disney fans out there but we enjoyed the universal parks better.

it rained non stop when we went to mk so gave up and came away early(very early) so didnt really get to see or do anything.didnt get time to go back to it so kicking orselves very hard now over that.

lucky we only had one day of rain and one day when it was cold.we packed mostly jumpers and jeans but had to go out on the second day and buy shorts and t-shirts as it was too hot(i live in blackpool so too us it was very hot) about 86 86 most days.

animal kingdom was fab,as was universal, busch gardens is also a must if you get chance(not easy to find as the sign posting it awful) hope everyone else thinks the same on that one and it wasnt just us.all the water parks for us also are a must, our children are water babies and i think these parks were the high light for them.they were for us if you can manage to do one the day after a normal park as great for chilling and just relaxing after walking around the day before so much.

now saving like mad to get back next year(if i can wait that long)
so we can see all the things we missed.

top tips for us,
take costumes too every park if you can as a lot have play areas for the children with lots of water games for them many a times ours have to walk around in wet clothes as we didnt take any and they wouldnt stay off them.lucky it was warm and they dried out very quick.
plenty of high factor sun cream.we used 50 and still we got burnt,my husband very badly.

all in all a fantastic time, brill weather and home with a tan,can you ask for anything more.

hope it helps a little for you,you will have a great time anyway.

I agree with you about the signs to BG, they used to be an absolute cakewalk to follow, but for some reason they now bring you in a different route and even having been there several times it's not easy to keep on track.

Glad you had a great time.
We havent visited Busch Gardens yet,This is planned for this trip :)
The Bug sets in, you think it wont but it does believe me you will be on a "Downer" now its like going "Cold Turkey"(although i dont know what this is like but it must be simular!) LOL....WDW does something to you! it makes you feel like kids again LOL, well it does to us! its a fantastic place.

We sat down in front the the telly as a family this evening (kids sitting on laps) to watch our free WDW promotional planning DVD (a British production, British narrator and interviews with British families), and can see how people can get addicted to going.

Thanks for the feedback Vicky, very useful.
