Hey everybody. I just got back last night. :cool1: We (me, Dbf and DD3) stayed at Pop. We were there for 8 nights. First, I was very worried about the crowds. Well, let me tell you how the crowds were. The longest wait we had was about 20 minutes. Waits were about 10 minutes or less usually and some walk on's. We were able to do AK in 1 day, Epcot in a day and a half, all of MGM (I mean everything) over the course of 3 days. We went in late some days or just for a few hours so we split the park between 3 days. (DBF loves MGM). But I think MGM could have been completed in a full day if we would have tried. We spent 2 full days at MK and went to mvmcp one night. We also saw cirque and decided this was overall the best show we saw all week. Fantasmic the second. Weather was very cold for our first day, then got very warm for the remainder of the trip. With the exception of 1 CM, they were all very very nice. The hotel was excellent. Everything went smoothly, no problems at all. We got a first floor room which I requested. Mousekeeping was excellent. Bus service was excellent. Check in and out went great and pretty fast despite the line. My favorite park was MK as was my DD3. DBF loves MGM and doesn't like Epcot. I liked epcot, but wasn't too crazy about MGM or AK. Me and DD3 were first timers. DBF has been there about 5 times. We got to see all the parades, fireworks, and many many characters. I will be posting a trip report, food reviews (we were on DDP) and other observations on the disboards and I'll try to post some pics. We got over 800 pics all together. Here are some of my favorites and not so favorites:

Favorites:
Cirque du soleil :thumbsup2
Fantasmic :thumbsup2
Wishes :thumbsup2
Mickey's phillharmagic
illuminations
festival of the lion king
twas the night before christmas

Didn't care for:
Country bears :sad2:
snow white's scary adventures
the making of me
backlot tour
finding nemo musical :sad2:
finding nemo ride at living seas

DD3 loved Peter pan's flight, snow white's scary adventures, the carousel, pooh ride, dumbo, aladdin's carpets, but was scared of: tough to be a bug, spaceship earth, figment ride and the fireworks. :confused3

DBF loved tough to be a bug, mission space, tower of terror, rock n' roller coaster. Didn't like star tours, doesn't like parades much. :confused3 If you have questions, I'll be glad to answer.

Thanks for your report

Can you tell us what you didn't like about the new Finding Nemo musical?

I think I was just expecting too much from it. It could have been the bad seats towards the back with no back part that was very uncomfortable, but honestly, the show was just ok. I read so many great reviews on it, but I already forgot all about it. I can barely remember the show at all. It just wasn't memorable to me. The music was ok, the puppets were cool as were the costumes, but they sort of rushed through the scenes. I can only remember the jelly fish flying around and the shark. That's about it.

We were at the Pop too but came home on the 12th. I love the Pop to bits, that place is so cool :goodvibes ! Glad to hear you had such a great trip, we did too! Did you do the Christmas Party? I doubt I'll do a trip report although I'm writing one up now, but mostly just adding notes to our itinerary so I don't forget. Sorry to hear you didn't like the Nemo ride, we thought it was really pretty and cute :). We didn't manage to see the musical though although we rode Everest 6x :thumbsup2! Whoo hoo!

ITA! We saw the 11:30 Nemo show at AK on Friday, December 15, and it was my idea / desire to see the show and I still wasn't that impressed. My DS5 seemed entranced during it though.

We just returned last nite also--stayed at POP too--was a fantastic time--except for the drenching rain on Thurs before the Mvmcp--can't wait too return--but really need some sleep

We were also at Pop all last week. Surprised you didn't like the two Nemo attractions, my 4 yr old niece enjoyed both so much that she declared one day that Nemo was her favorite Disney character, and she had never cared all that much about him before!

What?! That's sacriledge, IMO. :(

I'm sorry, but the country bears was so borring that my DBF, DD3 and half of the audience was sleeping. I couldn't wait for it to be over. The man next to my DBF was snoring and his wife had to wake him up since he was snoring so loudly!! :rotfl2:

Well, it actually just depends on the people in there. Sometimes, they have rather tired and less than enthusiastic audiences. Sometimes, they have highly energetic and enthusiastic audiences.

Same with any other attraction.

Welcome home! DD23 and I will end her grad trip at Pop. She's really looking forward to it!
