Just got back - GREAT trip - missed one thing

We just got back from a week long stay at the fort. Had a great time and even got our favorite site! We did, however, miss one little detail. Did I miss the notification that they were no longer doing the "craft time" at the pool? My kids always loved doing crafts (yes, even if they were Oriental Trading crafts). It gave the fort a little touch of "summer camp" feel.

All in all though there was a lot of Disney magic on this trip for us!

There are still "craft" type activities listed poolside on the movie/recreation calendar that is pinned at the top of the Board.

Glad to hear you had a good trip though otherwise.

PS - I have some calendars that go back to 2014 on my home computer. I'll look at them tonight to see if the type of activities has changed noticeably over time.

Yes Craft time is still at the Fort, they do it in front of the Bike Barn at the picnic tables.

Craft time is now "Design a Button, Mickey Tye Dye, etc $$". In previous summers it's been a free little craft that you could make a paper teepee, paddle ball coloring, color a sun catcher, magnet...the cheap silly but fun crafts. On our way out but will share our favorite site when we come back! Love the fort!!

Yes I noticed this with our last trip. No more free crafts or tattoos whatever they did that day. I always kept them Just $$ ones now.

1324 is our favorite site at this time. It's close enough for our "almost big kids" to ride to the store, we can all (from 4yrs up) make it to the pool by bike, just far enough away. The way that the site is angled, it has a large side yard.
