Just got back. Fulton's ain't worth the wishes.

Just returned. Ate at Fulton's on the silver plan and we were disappointed. The food was just average and we paid two wishes a piece. We didn't spend much more than our average one wish dinner.

Our other meals were all wonderful, including Crystal Palace (dinner), Le Cellier (lunch), Chefs de France (dinner), Hollywood Brown Derby(dinner), and Cinderella's Royal Table (lunch).

We ate there last summer. It was the worst restaurant we ever ate at. Never again. The food was horrible and the restaurant itself was nothing to talk about. The place was empty, that should have told us to turn around and leave.

I'm sorry you were disappointed in Fulton's. I've never been there, and I don't plan to go after all the negative comments I've read about the place.

I'm glad to hear you were pleased with your other meals. Could you tell me a little about your meal at Hollywood Brown Derby? How was the meal and the service?

Can you tell us why, exactly, you were disappointed? We've eaten at Fultons every trip and we make good use of the wishes. Our bill is usually between $200 and $250 before taxes and tip.

Was the food not tasty? Small portions?

We ate at Fulton's on our trip in May, and we still argue of which meal was the best, California Grille or Fulton's, my DH and DD say Fulton's, and I say California Grille, both were great!!! We also used the silver package, and there were 4 of us. Our meal was $303.00. It was one of our best meals. We ate at alot of great restaurants, and we will do this one again. Sorry you had a disappointing dinner.

We also just returned and had dinner at Fulton's on Mon, July 5 - it was GREAT!!!!! Our server was wonderful and the food, especially the pork chops, was excellent!!! We will definitely return! (Our bill was over $200, and we weren't on a plan!!)

Sorry to hear you didn't like your meal at Fulton's. It is one of our favorites and we always include it our list of must do resturants. We never are on a dining plan so I can't comment of the use of the wishes for the meal.

It was average food at a reasonable price. I think the disappointment was mostly that it cost 2 wishes each. If it were a one wish restaurant I wouldn't have complained. Also we ate here the last night of our trip so we'd already had so many wonderful meals that all cost about the same for half the wishes.

Hollywood Brown Derby was great. Our server was wonderful and our meals were all good. Only problem I had with it was that there were a lot of screaming kids. Parents had dragged them around the park all day and then expected them to sit still and wait patiently through a one and a half hour meal. Fortunately the familly at the next table got up and left because thier child would not stop screaming. I would do this one again but for lunch.

We ate at Fulton's last summer using the Silver Plan. We got the full value of our 2 wishes. The food was very good. Our bill was $260.

Buzzlady - The WDW people have really put a stop to the add-ons that Fulton's was famous for last summer. Now you're pretty much limited to what's on the menu in the plan's perscribed manner. No more $260 bills for four people unless everyone gets the lobster.

We have a PS to eat at Fultons during our Sept trip.
We will be on the silver plan, and by having my family look through the menu, I can see that our bill will easily top 270.00 before tax and tip. We will definitely be getting our two wishes worth per person
I wanted to make sure of the fact before I even booked us there.

We enjoyed all of them, even Fulton's (except for the price). We aren't picky but we like to get what we pay for. I shell out 2 bucks I'm happy with a Big Mac. I use 2 wishes each I expected more extravagant than what I get at a 1 wish restaurant without having to order the most expensive things on the menu. If only I could get the kids to eat something besides salmon.

Tooboyz - I wish I'd done the same but it was a last minute change in plans that caused me to book it without reviewing the menu first. I'd read on here about getting add ons and running up enormous bills that were taken care of with wishes. Too bad it's no longer true. The kids insisted on the cheap plates and DW just ate off our plates. We used 6 wishes to cover a $190 bill (including tax and tip). Not the savings that we experienced at all of our other meals.

I tried the chocolate creme brulee. Not bad but not as good as Le Cellier or Chefs de France. I don't remember what other desserts I ate. The kids didn't want thiers. I ate way too many and gained about 5 pounds in 5 days.

But let me clarify that when I said the food was average I meant average for WDW. Going back and reading my original post it sounds like I wasn't happy with the quality of the meal. That's not entirely true.

We went to Fulton's in 2000 and it was horrible then, good to see we didn't miss out this year! The food was small portions (compared to the other restaurants), it was cold, the service was horrible, and the bill for two turned out to be almost $300!! NEVER AGAIN!
